Last night as the rains (8” reported) continued, the City activated the Emergency Operations Center and brought in appropriate staff to address the many issues that were occurring.
The Fire Department conducted 15 emergency rescues to remove people from cars. The water was as high at 8’ in some areas and on some roadways.

At last week’s study session, the City Council discussed a proposed ordinance to begin the Certified Local Government process.
